A Mexican sort of day

Array of dips
So since we had been eating so unhealthily in England we decided that it was time for a change.  We planned a bike ride from Kenmore into Redmond (about a 12 mile journey one way).  Once we arrived we spotted an Oobas.  We had gone to this restaurant once before in Woodinville, so we chose to eat here for lunch.  Before we ate though, we went into the British Pantry to search for some of our comfort foods. We saw a multitude of chocolates and tea (PG tips).  We also saw pasty's, double cream, piccalilli and marmite.

Amazing but to many tortilla chips
After our exploration in the British Pantry we headed to Oobas.  First we went to the salsa bar and got pico de gallo, habenara, corn salsa, and some others.  Once prepared with our extras, we ordered.  I ordered a vegetarian taco, and Tyler ordered the portabello mushroom tacos. They were both accompanied by rice, beans and a special sauce.  In addition, they both came with a side of tortilla chips.  Unfortunately we didn't know this so we also ordered more chips.  This was waaayyy too many for us, so once we left we packed away our chips in our bags and headed on our way.

After the feast at Oobas, we continued on to Redmond town center where we got some nice smelling hand sanitizers from bath and body works.  We also got some free samples of truffles from Sees Candy.  Shortly after, we left and head towards Woodinville.  We locked up our bikes in a nearby park and walked into the city center (even though its tiny).  We grabbed a few drinks from Top Foods then headed to the movie theater because we had planned to go to the movies to watch Monsters University.  The movie was alright, but nothing too amazing.  Out of the theater the weather was bright and sunny, and about 75 degrees.  Like the title of this post hints, we chose to go to another Mexican restaurant for dinner.  This time we went to the chain, Chipotle.  Tyler got a burrito, and I got a salad.  Both of us had it with extra guacamole just because we love it so much.  And lucky enough, we didn't have to buy any chips because we already had ours left over from Oobas.  The food was very good, I don't even know which restaurant I liked better.  But it was a good day, filled with "semi-healthy" food and lots of exercise.
